Meet The Family

Iron Man
Elliott is currently 6 years old.  He is inquisitive, curious and a very logical thinker.  He has a superb memory.  He is always taking us by surprise with the random things he remembers, even from years ago.  He pretends to be shy at first, but is actually very talkative, outspoken and slightly bossy.  He is a kinesthetic learner and loves active, hands-on projects.  He loves all things Lego.  His favorite color is currently red.  He loves almost any fruit, and his favorite veggies are raw carrots and green bell peppers.   He was briefly known by the nickname Iron Man is because that was his favorite super hero.

Hulk
Emory is three years old.  He is outgoing, impulsive, daring, and he doesn't think twice before jumping in head first.  He's more than slightly stubborn.  He loves anything that his big brother loves, which means he went from newborn to kid way too fast.  His favorite color is green.  He loves citrus fruits and broccoli.  Yes, broccoli!  He was briefly known by the nickname Hulk not only because that was his favorite character, but it also fits his sometimes explosive personality.  He's definitely a character with attitude.

Belle
Eleanor is our newest blessing.  She was born in January 2013.  Having a girl is definitely a change for us after two boys, but I am excited for the changes she will bring to our family.  I briefly used the nickname Belle for her because Beauty and the Beast was always my favorite Disney movie...but quite frankly, I can hardly get their names straight in real life, and keeping up with nicknames on the blog became too much work.

Dad
God has blessed me with my husband.  He is a better husband than I could have ever dreamed.  He is my best friend and I can only try to be the wife he deserves.  He is a hard worker and a great provider.  He is a wonderful and dedicated father.  I couldn't have asked for a better person with which to spend my life making memories.

June
June is our perpetually dirty, always-needing-a-haircut, Westie.  No matter how often she is bathed and groomed, she finds a way to make a mess of herself!  She's my faithful friend, and prefers to sleep under my bed.  She likes to wrestle the vacuum hose and carry around stuffed animals.  If it's a family meal, she's under the table waiting to see what the boys will throw at her drop on the floor; otherwise she's sleeping.

Bailey
Bailey is our 1 year old chocolate lab.  She's rambunctious, goofy and has a never-ending-love of all things fetch, but when she stops moving she is beautiful.  She's loyal and devoted to the family, and protects the kids' friends just like they are her own family.  She will eat almost any table scrap she can swipe, but she has a strange obsession with tomatoes.
