I used Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie mix and followed the directions for making cutout cookies. I separated some dough as instructed, and kneaded in the cocoa powder. Then I rolled out the remaining dough, but when I cut the dinosaur tracks out of the regular dough, they fell apart, so I just added the scraps and extra cocoa to the other dough. I'm glad I did, because I needed a little extra to get all of the actual "tracks" cut out.
I didn't have white chocolate chips, so I cut up some white melting wafers. We also didn't have any nuts, or I would have added them. Elliott's favorite part of helping was pressing the chips down into the dough. I had a little chocolate dough leftover, so I just baked it off as cookies.
Of course, both boys were delighted to get their very own dinosaur track to eat!
This is so cool! It would make a super party snack.
